Summary
This paper will examine the merits of the two main use cases for Email Archiving: Stubbing, which leaves a “stub” of the email in the users mailbox but has the content of the email in the archive, and Archive, Delete and Search, where the user has confidence that all their mail is in the archive, and that they can find it easily, and can reduce the size of their mailbox by deleting mail.
